Wittgenborn

13.-14. August 2022 · Super Race-Weekend Wittgenborn

The Super Race Weekend in Wittgenborn was a three-part race: the first 3h race on Saturday, followed by a 4h race and the final 6h race on Sunday.

On Friday, it was primarily about the set-up as usual, we had to find the setting and used the free practice. Everything went great, we were satisfied and had a good feeling for the weekend.

Wackersdorf

08.-10. Juli 2022 · Bavarian 24h Race in Wackersdorf

The Bavarian 24h is the highlight of the season for everyone in the GTC. And so there were high expectations and excitement in the air in Wackersdorf this year too. 24 hours of engine noises, 24 hours of standing at the post, 24 hours of adrenaline.

Templin

10.-11. Juni 2022 · 12h Race in Templin

After the great start to the season in Mülsen, we went to Templin very optimistically. The last time we raced there was in our rookie season 2019 and we therefore had little experience. With optimal conditions on Friday, we were able to quickly find the ideal line and fine-tune our setup for the race. Qualifying was scheduled for Friday evening this time, with the special feature that only one lap is driven and timed. Since I've had to deal with some pressure situations in the GTC so far, I saw this qualifying session more as a challenge and less as a hurdle, and I was able to prove myself. So we were able to start the race as the strongest Trophy team from P4 overall.

Mülsen

13.-15. Mai 2022 · 12h Race Mülsen

We arrived in Mülsen on Friday morning and spent the whole day tuning the kart for the track. We were very optimistic on Friday for the race on Saturday, because we were able to stay in the top 3 times in practice.

Unfortunately, our optimism and joy did not last long, because there was a special feature in the qualifying in Mülsen. The qualifying did not follow the usual principle of the faster the better the starting position. This time, all the drivers from the respective classes had to make a 100-metre run to their kart at the same time and once there, the mechanics had to change both front tyres.
